The idea was to bring in generous amount of sunlight and open up the spaces. A skylight was introduced on common areas of second floor and third floor level i.e. center of the house. The location was strategically planned to maximize its intensity. On third floor a glass table was creatively put on top to use as center table of family room and allowing light to flood through center of house and lit up both level of building. A teak – wood and metal staircase were introduced near kitchen by using up a toilet space, which we eliminated as it doesn’t serve any purpose. With white brick pattern as a backdrop and a small skylight above it, it lits up staircase with a beam of light. Home with white walls which acts as a canvas, creates backdrop and playful furniture and collected artwork plays the personality in the whole house. Bedroom were designed keeping in mind the details of individual.
