Design began with remodelling the apartment walls. By removing a few walls - the foyer, drawing, dining and a corridor or combined together thereby creating a large common area full of natural light. The entrance ceiling painted in black is adorned with ninety pcs of inverted copper bowls converted into dimmable lights, lighting up the entrance evenly like an array of diyas lit and decorated to welcome the family members and guests. An intricate Pichwai artwork form the client collectibles is the centre piece of the entrance lobby.
Transition is of colours and design details is created from the entrance to the Living and dining room. Rich white Lhasa marble on the floor brightens up the space in the common areas. Wall of the Living room is cladded with Gwalior stone with CNC cut design pattern of leaves giving a statement backdrop to the room. Ceiling is designed with a touch of teak wood border, maintaining the simplicity and highlighting the hand-crafted glass leaves of the bespoke chandelier.
